A few weeks ago, Brian and Josie dropped into London for a visit.
We went to the Borough market and sampled all sorts of cheeses, and
bought fixings for a nice dinner of cheese, wine, soup and bread.
Later we went to St. Pauls Cathedral,
and climbed up to the top of the dome,
The view is pretty neat, and if you're at all scared of heights, it's
a little freaky.
It also happened to be Chinese new years, so we were able to watch
some of the festivities in Trafalgar square.
There was also a fire-cracker display in Lesiecher square. There
wasn't much to see, but it sure was loud!
We then went into the Churchill War Museum on Whitehall road. It was
a fortified underground bunker that Winston Churchill and British
military leaders used to avoid German bombs and run the war during
WWII.
It was a great visit! Here are all of my pictures.
