More Markets and More Laura Hair Styling
Yesterday we went to the Columbia Road Flower Market. This is an
enormously busy and long market of vendors selling all kinds of
flowers. Londoners seem to be all about their flowers. We had quite
the time finding the place as we forgot our "London A-Z" map book (the
essential map of London that everyone carries). But we found the
place and listened to the vendors yelling things like "A dozen
petunias for a fiver!" as we fought our way through the crowd.
Afterwards we went to the Spitalfield Market. It is a large
indoor-ish market that has lots of stylish clothes and a great food
section. I got copious amounts of Thai curry and Laura got a large
falafel. We vowed to come back when we had some money to burn.
Laura put on her hair stylist's hat again and dyed my hair. It's
dangerous having an unemployed wife because she gets all sorts of
ideas. So I now have black hair. With the red beard (currently
cropped to a little triangle on the chin) I look rather different.
